KAVALAN Sherry Cask Rue d’Anjou 50th Anniversary 2018

Founded by the King Car Group in Taiwan, Kavalan has rapidly established itself as one of the most celebrated distilleries in the world. Named after the ancient Kavalan tribe of Yilan, the distillery began production in 2006 under the guidance of the late whisky expert Jim Swann. Thanks to Taiwan’s subtropical climate and meticulous cask selection, Kavalan quickly gained international recognition for its bold, richly matured single malts.

This Kavalan Sherry Cask Rue d’Anjou 50th Anniversary 2018 is a special bottling celebrating the 50th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky’s historic boutique on Rue d’Anjou in Paris. Matured in exceptional sherry casks, the whisky showcases Kavalan’s signature intensity and elegance, delivering remarkable depth, structure, and richness. Powerful yet refined, it reveals a beautifully sculpted flavour profile that draws inspiration from both wine and rum maturation influences.
