Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Coppery orange.
Nose : Ample, refined. Oxidative (cherry in brandy), exotic (mango), and tertiary (walnut, date), the aromatic palette initially radiates maturity. Becoming increasingly medicinal (bandage, mustard poultice), it gradually evolves into a divinely floral bouquet (rose, heather).
Palate : Dynamic, rich. Spicy (pepper, star anise), indulgent (toffee), and resinous, the flavor profile is also notably fresh. Then, notes of blood orange, quince jelly, and incense add a great deal of smoothness and maturity.
Finish : Long, silky. More rooty (gentian), the beginning of the finish is also delicately salty. The influence of Oloroso sherry is magnificently highlighted. Overflowing with exotic freshness, the grand finale invites us to savor guavas and persimmons.
