Founded in 1825 near Pitlochry, Edradour is one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries, renowned for its traditional, hands-on approach and richly expressive single malt. Under the ownership of Andrew Symington, the distillery has also become known for exploring a wide range of distinctive cask finishes, establishing Edradour as a producer of particularly rich and characterful whiskies.
This 2015 Edradour was fully matured in a Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask and released as a special edition celebrating the distillery’s 200th anniversary. The influence of the sweet PX cask brings layers of raisins, figs, dates and dark chocolate, complemented by caramel and warming spice. Rich, velvety and deeply indulgent, it is an excellent showcase of Edradour’s naturally full-bodied spirit and the luxurious character of PX maturation.

Palate: Rich and velvety. Candied fruits, toffee, honey and cocoa unfold across a smooth, syrupy texture.
Finish: Long and warming, with dried fruits, gentle spices and lingering bitter cocoa.
