Limited Winter batch, Distilled 2011 and Bottled 2024
Daftmill is one of Scotland’s rarest distilleries, producing whisky only during the quiet farming months from barley grown on its own estate. The 2011 Winter Release, distilled in December 2011 and bottled in 2024 comes from 27 first-fill bourbon barrels, with just 7500 bottles available worldwide.
This seasonal expression reflects Daftmill’s farm-to-bottle philosophy and its commitment to small-scale, traditional whisky making. Long maturation in ex-bourbon casks has created a whisky of striking elegance and depth, balancing orchard fruit brightness with layers of vanilla, oak spice, and gentle malt sweetness.
