Founded in 1891 in the heart of Speyside, CRAIGELLACHIE is known for its robust and distinctive character, combining a rich, oily texture with ripe fruit and a subtle sulphury edge. The distillery was founded by Peter Mackie, creator of the White Horse blend and one of the influential figures of the Scotch whisky industry. Today, Craigellachie is part of John Dewar & Sons.
This 2011 vintage was matured for 15 years in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt and bottled by Signatory Vintage at 100 Proof. The sherry cask brings additional depth to Craigellachie’s naturally powerful spirit, layering dark fruit, chocolate, toasted nuts and warming spice while retaining its characteristic richness and structure.

Nose: Rich and expressive, with black raisins, candied orange, cocoa and toasted walnuts, complemented by a subtle waxy note.
Palate: Dense and powerful, with dates, plum, brown caramel, sweet spices and toasted oak.
Finish: Long and warming, with dried fruits, mocha and a gentle peppery touch.
Style: Rich, sherried and powerful.
