Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Deep copper
Nose : Rich and concentrated. Floral (orris concrete, lily), fruity (mirabelle plum, marmalade, lemon), spicy (pepper), mineral (gentian root), and finely woody (beeswax, walnut husk), the first nose has a lot of amplitude. Upon airing, it becomes tenderly chocolaty and apricoty. Over time, it evolves into a very pretty acidic note of rhubarb.
Palate : Clean and sharp. Very exotic (persimmon, mango), the mouthfeel is also nobly spicy (cardamom, curry). In the middle of the palate, flavors of flambéed bananas mingle with cocoa powder and grated ginger. Superb. At the very end of the palate, passion fruit and bourbon vanilla accentuate the exotic character of the gustatory palette.
Finish : Long and serene. At the start of the finish, zucchini flowers and dandelions perfectly match honeyed (lavender, heather) and infused (chamomile, rosemary) flavors. In retro-olfaction, malted barley adds a granular and crunchy signature. The empty glass is medicinal (tiger balm) and finely woody (oak, suspended dust).
Profile : Precise and rich.
