Tasting Notes
Precise, heady. Bitter orange + dark chocolate = orangette. Transforms into a combination of mandarin and lemon zest, taking on a more roasted, coffee-inspired aspect. The orange then melds into apricot and mango.
Gourmand, fine. The orange here is seasoned with spices (cardamom), dark chocolate, almond, acacia honey, ginger, a pinch of salt, lavender, violet and a handful of dark berries (blackberry, blueberry).
Long, full-bodied. It awakens each and every taste-bud. With notes of ivy, oak, mushrooms (boletus) and apricot kernel, the Cognac influence here is clear. In this respect, it marks a return to tradition.
