Located in the northern Highlands, CLYNELISH was established in 1967 alongside the original distillery, which was renamed Brora in 1969. Known for its fresh, fruity and distinctly waxy character, Clynelish single malt is an important component of Johnnie Walker blends and is also highly regarded as a single malt.
Selected by Gordon & Macphail, this 17-year-old expression was distilled in 2008 and matured in a 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel. Part of the Itinéraires collection, it showcases Clynelish’s distinctive character through a complex interplay of fresh fruit, waxy richness and maritime nuances. Rustic yet refined, it develops with remarkable depth and constantly evolving aromatic and flavour dimensions.
