Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Old gold with copper reflections.
Nose : Ample, elegant. Apricot, creamy (coconut), and luxuriously vanilla-like, the aromatic palette quickly becomes more floral (iris, genista), honeyed (geranium), and medicinal (balm). With aeration, noble spices (cardamom, ginger) and a fine layer of licorice permeate the olfactory space.
Palate : Dynamic, elegant. Exotic (pineapple, ripe banana), the flavor profile features delicate, fibrous tannins (sugar cane). Gradually, flavors of candied citrus (lemon, grapefruit) infuse the palate with their tangy juice.
Finish : Long, complex. Finely licorice-like (stick), the tasting experience leans towards the world of rye whiskeys. With a very pleasant root-like bitterness (gentian) and salivating quality, it unfolds to reveal praline and tobacco flavors. Indulgent, the retro olfaction invites us to savor delicious, still-warm sugar cane.
