Nose: complex, captivating. On the first nose, scents of beeswax and heather honey bring great sensitivity and nobility to the aromatic palette. What an introduction! Allowed to breathe, notes of baked apple, yellow Chartreuse and mango bring ever more depth and radiance. Then, bourbon vanilla and new exotic fruits (passion, kiwi) and black pepper multiply the feeling of pleasure felt until then.
Palate: rich, concentrated. Both floral (broom, carnation), rooty (gentian) and exotic (passion fruit), the attack on the palate has enormous delicacy and nuance. Full-bodied, the mid-palate is composed of cocoa beans, prunes, liquorice, coffee, candied lemon, dried apricot, toffee, heady flowers (lily, iris) and seaweedÉ Magnificent. A delicious verbena infusion comes just in time to refresh the taste buds.
Finish: long, unctuous. Full of life, the start of the finish achieves the perfect harmony between sweet, acid, bitter and salty. Its elegance is matched only by its freshness and nobility of expression. As a highlight, malted barley adds a gourmet, creamy and assertive signature to the bottom of the taste palette. Evoking a tea with milk and cardamom, the retro-olfaction in turn extends the tasting time to infinity. Faithful to the first nose, the empty glass has an irresistible charm.
