Description
Profile
Color: Bright yellow.
Nose: both fresh and heady. On one side are lemony, herbaceous, fruity (pear, pineapple) and honeyed (acacia) scents. On the other, emerge ash, smoky, burnt, rubbery and charcoal aromas. Lactic notes (coconut, almond) serve as a link between these two facets. Over time, medicinal (balm), empyreumatic (incense), and spicy (turmeric) scents come to the fore.
Mouth: lively, tense. Absolutely superb, the attack on the palate initially gives way to smoke, sleet and dry peat. Then, candied lemons and juicy Williams pears have their say. This cohabitation full of temperament will last until the final. Meanwhile, flavors of toasted bread, roasted coffee, gray pepper, salt and ash bring great subtlety and nuance to the taste palette.
Finish: slender, fresh. At the start of the finish, a verdant malted barley covered in sea spray enters the scene masterfully. In her luggage, she brings with her exotic fruits (passion, kiwi, banana, pineapple) and many grains of salt. At the very end of the palate, a bouquet garni of Provenal herbs divinely perfumes the atmosphere. The retro-olfaction invites us to savor a homemade porridge. The empty glass is rooty (ginseng, genepi), musky, delicately peaty, fruity (pear, lemon) and floral (daisy).
Profile: Smoky, fruity, lively.
