Description
TASTING NOTE
Color: sustained copper
Nose: fine, smooth. Remarkable fruity freshness (orange, apricot, mango) and at the same time balsamic (cedar pine), the first nose is extremely deep. When aired, chocolate and spicy flavors (cinnamon, ginger) give it a lot of class while red (raspberry, strawberry) and black (blackberry, cherry) fruits enhance the fruity dimension of the aromatic palette. Gradually, beeswax and quince accompany heady flowers (freesia, hyacinth, peony).
Palate: elegant, smooth. On the palate, a fine film of soot covers the aromatic palette. However, it flies very quickly to pieces. Thus, chocolate, blood oranges and toffee evolve the mid-palate towards tones reminiscent of taffeta. In the aftertaste, ginger, chocolate chips and heather honey constitute a particularly harmonious taste. Notes of cherry and toasted nuts.
Overall: long, racy. Closely linked to the palate, the start of the finish is powdery (cocoa, coffee) and slightly earthy. Over time, a hint of camphor energizes a finish that evokes a slightly burnt apricot tart. Delicious. In retro-olfaction, dried fruits (prune, quince) and caramelized rhubarb precede an empty glass whose dry extracts are full of spices (pepper, cloves) and root scents (gentian, ginseng).
