Tasting Notes
Colour : Green gold.
Nose : Both rich and elegant. A first mineral aroma is immediately accompanied by scents of vesou (sugarcane juice) and fresh cane sugar. Spicy and medicinal (balm), the aromatic palette then evolves towards significantly fruitier tones (lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, banana).
Palate : Lively, tense. With a very pleasant vegetal bitterness (sugarcane, ginseng root), the flavor profile strongly reflects the fruity notes from the nose. Simply put, the fruits have become more roasted (pineapple), flambéed (banana), or candied (lemon). Noble spices (cardamom, clove) gradually make their appearance.
Finish : Long, balanced. Mineral (heated asphalt), finely licorice and floral (geranium, iris), the finish is softened by the presence of vanilla and creamy flavors (coconut, yogurt). Over time, it becomes more aniseed and camphor-like. Fibrous, the retro-olfaction invites us to contemplate a field of sugarcane.
