Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Orange copper.
Nose : Concentrated, heady. Medicinal (balm, mustard seed), ashy, terpenic (incandescent lava), and empyreumatic (rubber, smoke), the aromatic palette is also delicately fruity (mandarin, gooseberry). With aeration, scents of charcoal and Armenian paper intensify its ethereal character.
Palate : Lively, tense. A faithful reflection of the nose, the flavor profile initially consists mainly of hydrocarbons (gasoline, petroleum, fuel). Gradually, flavors of Turkish delight, date, and pistachio candy provide a more oriental dimension. It is then refreshed by citrus zests (lemon, grapefruit).
Finish : Long, complex. Both indulgent (ripe banana, roasted pineapple), earthy (oil field), and gamey (royal hare), the tasting gradually reveals more honeyed (lime tree), herbal (coriander, oregano), and jammy (orange) tones. In retro-olfaction, the wisps of an elegant Havana linger in the atmosphere.
