Tasting Notes

Colour : Orange copper.

Nose : Subtle, airy. Initially, aromas of new oak, orange zest, and roasted nuts interact with great liveliness. With aeration, the aromatic profile becomes more medicinal (ointment, bandage) and creamy (coconut, almond). Then, a few peppercorns bring added energy.

Palate : Rich, smooth. With a very delicate texture (peach skin, banana peel), the flavor profile also reveals honeyed (lime blossom), vanilla, and licorice stick notes. Gradually, flavors of rice powder and candied ginger deeply imprint themselves on the taste buds.

Finish : Long, silky. Inviting you to savor quince jelly, marmalade, or raisin bread, the flavor profile has grown considerably more indulgent. Dedicated to dried fruits (dates, figs, chestnuts), the retro-olfaction is remarkably mature while simultaneously freshly herbal (sage, chamomile).
