Tasting Notes
Nose: Refined, complex. At first, lovely aromas of corn appear alongside enchanting notes of apricot, mango and blood orange. Allowed to breathe, the focus shifts to honey (heather), chocolate and resin (cedar). Notes of crème brûlée then gradually fill the air
Palate: Rich, layered. The palate is remarkably well-balanced and smooth, revealing jam (marmalade, apricot), powder (ginger, cocoa) and gentian root. With time, it develops flavours of tropical fruits (mango, persimmon), toffee and black liquorice, before making way for empyreumatic nuances of wood polish and beeswax
Finish: Long, serene. The delicate texture on the finish (wild peach) reflects a deep maturity. Immediately after, corn and malted barley notes begin to caress the taste buds.
