Tasting Notes
Nose : Opens with classic doughy and biscuity aromas that are signature to Blanton’s, gradually unfolding into fresh oak and delicate white florals. Vanilla is pronounced, lifted by a hint of warm, high-proof intensity that entices a first sip.
Palate : A vibrant burst of sweet spices (nutmeg, anise, cloves) leads the charge, supported by elegant charred oak with a slightly smoky, toasted edge. The mid-palate offers notes of sweet cherries and cinnamon. The texture is rich and viscous, with a persistent warmth that’s well-balanced by the initial sweetness.
Finish : Long and layered, with spice and oak languishing through to the end. Notes of bittersweet black tea, mellow caramel, and subtle earthiness unfold, followed by a gentle lift of pepper, smoky maple, and clean dry oak to close.
