Tasting Notes

Colour : Golden yellow.

Nose : Fresh, subtle. Abundantly fruity (banana, pear, mirabelle), the aromatic profile is also remarkable for its balance and fullness. Very fine aromas of honey and wax provide a lot of smoothness. Over time, it becomes vanilla, liqueur-like (cane sugar), and roasted (pineapple).

Palate : Both lively and indulgent. Flavors of candied citrus (lemon, grapefruit), white peaches, and zucchini fritters generously enrich a flavor profile that is superbly balanced. Then, some sweet spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg) permeate the palate.

Finish : Long, fluffy. Powdery (ginger, rice, semolina), the tasting continues with very pleasant flavors of Williams pear and Golden apple. Then, it evolves into notes of freshly cut sugar cane. The retro-nasal olfaction alternates between indulgent and herbaceous (pipe tobacco).
