Tasting Notes

Colour : Golden yellow.

Nose : Fresh, subtle. Abundantly fruity (banana, pear, mirabelle), the aromatic profile is also remarkable for its balance and fullness. Very fine aromas of honey and wax give it a lot of softness. Over time, it becomes vanilla-like, liqueur-like (cane sugar), and roasted (pineapple).

Palate : Both lively and indulgent. Flavors of candied citrus (lemon, grapefruit), white peaches, and zucchini fritters generously feed a flavor profile that is superbly balanced in turn. Then, some gentle spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg) infuse the palate.

Finish : Long, fluffy. Powdery (ginger, rice, semolina), the tasting continues with lovely flavors of Williams pear and Golden apple. It then evolves into notes of freshly cut sugar cane. The retro olfaction is alternately indulgent and herbal (pipe tobacco).
