Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Bright gold.
Nose : Both fresh and heady. Aromas of grapefruit and vanilla fill the first nose, which evolves into notes of juicy pear and radiant clove. Upon aeration, malted barley grains slip into every vacant space. Balblair shines.
Palate : Lively, lofty. With flavors of vanilla, malted barley, and pear, the first taste mirrors the nose. Refined, the mid-palate adds a hint of fresh exoticism (pineapple, coconut). Then, soft spices (cinnamon, cumin) coat the palate.
Finish : Long, silky. Creamy (yogurt ice cream), the beginning of the finish is also chocolatey. It then evolves with tangy notes (grapefruit), honeyed (acacia), and fruity (candied pear). From the empty glass arise scents of balm and cut hay.
