Irish to the core, Bushmills is the heir to a tradition over 400 years old, producing a single malt entirely free of peat. Triple distilled, the new-make spirit is collected at an impressive strength of 85%. After a necessary reduction, it is then aged in a wide variety of casks. Indeed, Bushmills invests heavily in the rigorous sourcing of barrels from the United States, France, Andalusia, Portugal, Sicily, and the Caribbean. This rare diversity allows for the creation of unique expressions while maintaining the unmistakable Irish character of this whiskey.
