Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Deep old gold.
Nose : Rich, deep. At first sniff, rye shines through with a presence that is both rustic and velvety. Upon aeration, aromas of toasted bread emerge in a pleasantly herbal atmosphere (ivy, hay). Then, the aromatic palette evolves towards lemony and oily notes full of originality.
Palate : Rich, dense. In perfect continuity with the nose, the palate’s attack is earthy (rye field). Then, cinnamon and candied ginger gently envelop the gustatory palette. The finish is marked by flavors of salted butter caramel and peanuts.
Finish : Long, concentrated. Floral (iris, geranium), the finish revisits the peanut butter flavors from the palate. Fresh, the aftertaste reveals fruity notes (baked apple, yellow plum) and then transitions into autumnal (pumpkin, butternut squash). Magnificent.
