Founded in 1994, Sullivans Cove is Tasmania’s pioneering single malt distillery and one of Australia’s most celebrated whisky producers. Since relocating to Cambridge near Hobart in 2003, the distillery has earned international acclaim for its handcrafted, small-batch whiskies, with an annual production of only around 120 casks. Every release reflects the distillery’s dedication to exceptional cask selection and meticulous maturation.

The Special Cask series represents the pinnacle of Sullivans Cove’s craftsmanship. Reserved for the distillery’s rarest and most extraordinary whiskies, these one-of-a-kind releases fall outside its traditional French and American Oak styles and are selected only after achieving exceptional scores from the internal tasting panel. Special Cask #7, matured in a rare American Oak ex-Muscat cask, showcases the remarkable influence of fortified wine on Sullivans Cove’s elegant spirit. Rich layers of orchard fruit, confectionery sweetness, herbs and spice unfold with remarkable depth and complexity, making this an exceptional collector’s release produced in extremely limited quantities.
