Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Broad, airy. The sugar cane expresses itself with great delicacy. It proudly carries a wide aromatic palette. Its white fruits (peach, pear), red fruits (raspberry, brandied cherry), exotic fruits (pineapple, passion fruit), tertiary notes (slight tar, leather, tobacco), dried fish, hay, and fresh ginger are enchanting and sensual.
Palate : Rich, generous. Its fruity and nutty notes evoke a Fougerolles kirsch. Some spices (star anise, clove, cinnamon) fuel the mid-palate. It evolves with citrus fruits (grapefruit, bergamot) and white flowers (lilac, lily of the valley). Vanilla-like, it oscillates between frangipane and dried fruits (pistachio, almond).
Finish : Long, creamy. The fruits have become confit, some even turned into jam (cherry, strawberry). The geranium flower and rose petals envelop with their heady perfumes, while mineral notes (pencil lead, petroleum) emerge. The empty glass highlights apricot pit and star anise.
