Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Topaz.
Nose : The sweetness of apple pie and raisins, accompanied by toasted barrel-aging notes, leads to soft smoke and woody aromas. It gives the impression of standing in the cellar where the whisky has peacefully aged.
Palate : Soft, deep oak serves as a base for spicy notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts, and dark chocolate. The subtle bitterness of peat is balanced by sweet apricot jam and maple syrup. This warm profile evokes the feeling of sitting by a fireplace.
Finish : Peat accompanies sweet and sour notes, introducing a pleasant bitterness in a very long finish.
