Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Explicit. The anise is present in the form of candy, spice, and aperitif. Its color is white. The addition of water causes a slight cloudiness, bringing out notes of peppermint, licorice, citrus, and smooth hints of verbena and almond.
Palate : Nervy, tense. It stretches lazily across cloves, cardamom, fresh coriander, star anise, cinnamon, and ginger. With originality, it gains color and turns golden yellow. The anise returns.
Finish : Long and concentrated. The palate tightens with bitter almonds, leather, and “zan” (licorice). Accompanied by cloves, nutmeg makes its first appearance. These two spices close the quotation marks. The empty glass is empyreumatic (pine resin, thuja, calendula ointment).
