By combining the two, Compass Box has created a whiskey with intense aromas and a great complexity, a whiskey that allows to better understand the true character of this distillery.Myths & Legends I is our first single malt, although we would describe it as a blend of whiskies that happen to come from a single distillery. In fact, all single malt brands are blends of numerous casks, produced at one distillery. Myths & Legends I has been creaetd from two parcels of malt whisky distilled at the same Northern Highland distillery. One was very different to the other, however, giving two constraining views on the distillery’s personality. In the illustration, the central figure is hybrid: partly female and partly deer. This represents the contrasting flavors of each of the two malt singles used for Myths & Legends I, and how “single” malts are typically composed of multiple personalities.
