Lous Pibous means “the poplars” in Gascon. Located in Mauléon d’Armagnac in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, this estate ages its eaux-de-vie in new oak casks from the region. Made from the Folle Blanche grape variety, this vintage from 1996 is both remarkably fine and powerful. The new oak not only brings a lot of class to its aromatic and gustatory palette, but also allows it to stay as close as possible to the grape, in a way, to keep its feet on the ground. This vintage from 1996 made from the Folle Blanche grape variety is both remarkably fine and powerful.
