The release of a new version of Kilchoman Loch Gorm every spring has become a little event.

Named after Islay’s largest freshwater lake, located not far from the distillery, with its dark, peaty waters teeming with wildlife, Loch Gorm combines expressive peat at 50 ppm with Kilchoman’s characteristic citrus notes and the woody, fruity, and indulgent influence of sherry.

For the 2024 edition, 23 oloroso sherry casks sourced from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin were carefully selected by Anthony Wills, founder of the distillery.

Among these casks, there are 17 first-fill casks and 6 second-fill casks, all distilled in 2014. A masterful balance, richly fruity and peaty, that remains as enjoyable and essential as ever!
