Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Coppery orange.
Nose : Rich, powerful. A subtle blend of dark chocolate, licorice, candied apricot, and dried fruits (chestnut, walnut), the aromatic palette gradually evolves towards more jammy (orange, quince), honeyed (linden), and medicinal (Tiger Balm) registers.
Palate : Lively, slender. Starting exactly where the nose left off, the flavor palette adds indulgent notes of toffee, raisin bread, and carrot cake. Becoming increasingly heady, it extends towards notes of orange blossom, geranium, and iris concrete.
Finish : Long, slightly tannic. Behind a very fine mineral reduction (slate), the tasting takes on a more vanilla, autumnal character (mushroom, moss) and praline (gianduja). Finally, spices (cardamom, clove) lend much nobility to a retro-olfaction also tinged with exoticism (persimmon, mango).
