Colour: Orange copper
Nose: Delicate and complex. Fruity rancio notes of orange and apricot intertwine with chocolate and candied ginger. With aeration, heather honey, dried fruits (date, hazelnut) and old plum eau-de-vie emerge, lending impressive maturity.
Palate: Ample and full-bodied. Liqueur-like rock sugar and a gentle herbal bitterness from sugarcane support flavours of orange, apricot and prune. The texture turns silky, revealing cocoa powder, vanilla pod and subtle medicinal notes.
Finish: Long and smooth. Medicinal and floral (geranium, wallflower), accented by cardamom. Retro-nasally, molasses, black liquorice, sandalwood, roasted mango and dried apricot linger with remarkable elegance.
