Equipoise (“A state of balance”) is the twenty-fifth release in Foursquare’s acclaimed Exceptional Cask Selection (ECS) series. A double-maturation Single Blended Rum, it combines artisanal copper pot still and twin column Coffey still distillates, aged entirely at Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados.
This limited expression spent 10 years in ex-Bourbon barrels, followed by 4 years in ex-Calvados casks, showcasing Foursquare’s innovation in pairing classic Barbados structure with French apple-brandy influence. Bottled at 60% ABV (120 proof), Equipoise is non-chill filtered and free from sugar or additives, embodying Richard Seale’s philosophy of authenticity.
