Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is the result of the founder of the brand, PJ Rigney’s travels. Its name evokes the elusive Drumshanbo Jackalope, an imaginary animal from American folklore, which is both a hare and an antelope. His travels took him to the wild and preserved lands of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim in Ireland, where he created The Shed Distillery, equipped with medieval copper stills, and where he blends Oriental botanicals with those of the Irish lands.
