The result of PJ Rigney’s creativity, this Irish gin is distilled in medieval copper stills and blends Eastern botanicals discovered through his travels with local botanicals from the Irish lands.
It includes, among other things, angelica and iris roots, caraway, cardamom, coriander, Chinese lemon, kaffir lime, and gunpowder green tea.
Over the years, PJ Rigney embarked on numerous journeys from his family lands to unknown places.
These travels took him to the wild and preserved lands of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, in Ireland.
It was here that his curious mind, enriched with Eastern traditions of distilling fruits, herbs, and botanicals, began to work.
He created The Shed Distillery, using medieval copper stills, and began his quest to blend the Eastern botanicals discovered during his travels with those from the Irish lands.
