Nose: Refined and concentrated. The aromatic profile is deeply elegant, offering developed notes of apricot, porcini mushroom and chocolate, alongside florals and spices (orris butter, curry), balsamic tones (pine, cedar) and rancio. With impressive depth, it gradually moves into more roasted aromas?coffee and cashew nut?as well as citrus notes of orange and mandarin.
Palate: Lively and distinguished. Mirroring the nose with great clarity, the flavour profile is strikingly fresh and delicate, with a beautifully fine texture. Initially lifted by herbal infusions (sage, verbena, mint) and generous honey and apricot notes, it evolves toward richer expressions of chocolate and malt.
Finish: Full-bodied and generous. The balsamic, lightly salty finish introduces heady floral notes (geranium, carnation) and medicinal nuances (mustard poultice), along with gingery root tones. On the retro-nasal finish, refined hints of apricot and chocolate echo the rancio perceived on the nose.
