Nose: Refined and complex. Abundant tropical fruits—kiwi, pineapple and banana—are joined by verbena and vetiver, followed by ginger and cinnamon. Vanilla pods, cane honey and warm sugarcane emerge alongside subtle medicinal nuances, with the aromatic profile evolving continuously in the glass.
Palate: Lively and energetic. Heady floral notes of geranium and carnation mingle with acacia honey, menthol and eucalyptus. The tropical fruit spectrum mirrors the nose before shifting toward camphorated, spicy and medicinal tones. The texture becomes liqueur-like, with cane sugar sweetness, vanilla and bright citrus accents of lime and combava.
Finish: Distinguished and invigorating. Oxidative notes of roasted pineapple and flambéed banana meet fibrous sugarcane and smooth cane honey. A fresh, minty, almost aniseed lift carries through to the retro-olfaction, where chocolate, liquorice and cinnamon underline the rum’s remarkable maturity and coherence.
