Tasting Notes

Colour : Old topaz gold.

Nose : Broad, deep. Intensely vanilla and herbaceous (tobacco, sugar cane), the first nose also reveals smoky (asphalt) and mineral (slate) notes. With aeration, the aromatic palette evolves towards a wide variety of fruits: exotic (banana, pineapple), white (pear, white peach), and dried (nuts, almond).

Palate : Clear, lively. Heady (dried flowers, lavender), the palate attack vigorously delivers flavors of sugar cane and cinnamon. Lemony, the mid-palate becomes even spicier (clove, nutmeg, green pepper), peppery (Cayenne), and delicately liqueur-like (sugar cane).

Finish : Long, robust. In perfect continuity with the palate, the start of the finish is refreshed by the presence of citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit). Finely licorice-flavored, the aftertaste is marked by pleasant lactose notes (almond, agave). Velvety tannins gradually coat the taste buds.
