Colour : Old gold with copper highlights.
Nose : Expansive, airy. Nobly spiced (pink pepper, saffron), heady (iris, geranium), and grainy (corn), the aromatic profile is remarkable for its finesse and precision. With aeration, it becomes more camphorated and peppery (Cayenne). Gradually, dried fruits (almond, pecan) and citrus zest (grapefruit, lemon) blend harmoniously.
Palate : Straightforward, refined. Delightfully aniseed and spiced (cardamom), the flavor profile quickly evolves into complex grainy territories (corn, rye, malted barley). Over time, cocoa beans and vanilla pods lend it smoothness and freshness. Flavors of banana and pineapple then add a very pleasant exotic touch.
Finish : Long, balanced. Gourmet (vanilla flan) and velvety (peach skin), the tasting moves towards more honeyed (lavender, acacia), roasted (coffee), and infused (elderflower) notes. Then, in retro-olfaction, unexpectedly, superb notes of blackcurrant bud take over the palate.
