Founded in 1798 in Pitlochry, Blair Athol is one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries. After operating under several names, it adopted its current identity in 1825 and has since become known for its weighty, malty house style. While much of its production contributes to the iconic Bell’s blend, Blair Athol’s single malts—particularly those matured in sherry casks—are highly prized by enthusiasts. This bottling forms part of Signatory Vintage’s 100 Proof range, a series dedicated to traditional maturation, high natural strength and transparent, character-driven single malts.
