Tasting Notes
Colour : Antique gold.
Nose : Delicate and heady. The first nose is very elegant, offering a bouquet of dried flowers, ashes, damp earth, and even tiger balm. With aeration, notes of candied oranges, Russian leather, rose petals, and incense add an Oriental touch.
Palate : Refined and noble. The attack on the palate reveals fine notes of heather honey, fig, and raisin, highlighting the beautiful influence of the Moscatel wine. Underneath, a peat that has become more oily serves as an empyreumatic base (tar, sleet) towards the finish.
Finish : Dense, deep. Spicy and medicinal at first, the finish gradually gives way to soft notes of coconut milk. The aftertaste is animalistic (dried meat), salty, and camphorated, with an impressive length.
