BENROMACH 16 ans 2009 1st Fill Super Toscan Itinéraires

Acquired in 1993 by the Gordon & MacPhail trading house, the Benromach distillery was likely inaugurated on 15 October 1998, in the presence of Prince Charles, after its buildings had been completely renovated. Its first single malt was released in 2004, followed two years later by a version produced from organically grown barley. Full of contrasts, the aromatic and flavour profile of this expression ? matured in a cask that previously held a prestigious Tuscan wine ? reveals mineral, malty, smoky, fruity, and floral notes whose pure, delicate character naturally reflects the Benromach style.
