Description
Nose: rich, deep. Oxidative (roasted fig, very ripe pineapple, dried apricot), medicinal (iodine tincture) and praline-like, the aromatic palette is particularly radiant. With aeration, bursts of dark chocolate, scents of iris and fresh walnuts, along with citrus (grapefruit, lemon), compose a dynamic second sequence.
Palate: lively, taut. Spicy (Cayenne pepper) and medicinal (balm), the flavour profile is strikingly firm and concentrated. Rooty (ginger, gentian), it then ventures enthusiastically into herbal, liquorice and vanilla notes. Over time, salted almonds and orange zest highlight the beautiful influence of sherry.
Overall: at once silky and assertive. Floral (dandelion, lily, mimosa), it gradually becomes deliciously creamy (coconut), balsamic (pine) and tropical (pineapple, banana). Liquorice-tinged and mouthwatering with salinity, the aftertaste reveals notes of wax, lemon zest and Williams pear, intricately intertwined.
