This unique whiskey thus places the Amrut distillery in the very exclusive circle of distilleries producing Rye Single Malt. Aged for 5 years in American oak barrels, it proves to be very fruity and delicate. On the nose, floral notes (rose, peony, orchid) mingle with orchard fruit notes (apples, quinces, pears). The palate is more intense, oscillating between fruit and mild spices. The long and refreshing finish brings forth subtle lemony notes.
