Founded in 1948, a few months after India’s independence, this family-owned company based in Bangalore, in the south of the country, produces whisky in the traditional Scottish style while claiming its Indian origins. In fact, it almost exclusively uses barley grown in the fertile plains at the foot of the Himalayas. Located at about 1000 meters above sea level and subject to a tropical climate, its warehouses, mainly containing bourbon barrels, are real aging accelerators.

The first rum from South India is now in our portfolio. Made from local cane and aged in imported oak barrels, this rum is like Indian cuisine: spicy!
