Similar to its counterparts, this whiskey skillfully embodies the character and essence of a particular nation by employing distinct casks to authentically encapsulate its unique identity. In this particular release, Teeling opted for whiskey initially aged in bourbon barrels, then granted it an additional four years of maturation in carefully chosen casks formerly employed in aging Mugi Shochu. This exceptional finishing touch introduces captivating flavors of lychee and passionfruit to an already exceptional Irish whiskey.
