Rattlesnakes are a curious component that go into the distillation of Sotol Coyote’s limited-edition Vibora.
A second distillation is done with rattle snakes hung in the bell for a distinctive savoury finish. Vibora – meaning small poisonous snakes – sotol is the result after the distillate rests for a few days with cooked sotol pinas and is finished with two months of aging in whiskey casks.
