This luxurious & highly prized set of the Artist #9 series now comes in a beautifully elegant, custom-made display  box including all of the Artist #9 expressions. Exclusively for Singapore only.

Considered as the most poetic painter of China, Wang Yabin dedicated his studies to occidental modern art knowledge. Rich from his travels full of reading, thinking and artistic experiments.  Yabin’s imagery  is animated by this chaotic energy, floral and mineral.

Working with LMDW Creations, this set consists of 5 extremely rare casks:

  • Edradour Aged 10 2009 57.2% Intense, this version imposes maturity on the palate with a lot of fruits, flowers and a remarkable malty finish.
  • Auchentoshan Over 15 2000 60.3% Offers a well-balanced expression of fresh fruits, citrus and noble spices.
  • Glenburgie Over 20 1995 54% Reveals a perfect combination between the nose and the mouth, vanilla and fruits, liquorice and bay leaf.
  • Macallan Aged 30 1989 50.4% With its wood and spice aromas, this version lives up to the distillery’s reputation: Intense, complex and refined.
  • Bunnahabhain Aged 40 1979 46.7% Highlights the greatness of the 60’s and 70’s versions, a perfect blend between liquorice, cocoa and exotic fruits.

Each year since 2011, the Artist range is the result of a meticulous and precise selection during the first eight months of the year. The choice of distillery, taste, age, maturation process, ABV and the graphic interpretation by a promising artist is what makes the Artist collection so unique.
These limited editions by La Maison du Whisky display our vision of the Single Malt Scotch Whisky at a precise moment.
In 2018, the range was divided into two: Artist 8 & Artist 8 Sherry, highlighting this type of maturation so beloved by connoisseurs. This year again, the collection will be composed of two lines, one dedicated to peated whiskies, and the other unpeated. Artistically speaking, the 2019 collection is looking at Asia with Artists from China and Korea, blending flowers with pigments, rocks with stellar colours and poetry with romanticism.
