The Monkey Shoulder brand is first and foremost an iconic bottle with its 3 monkeys hanging from the shoulder. It is then a round and generous whisky that appeals to both beginners and connoisseurs. Bartenders have quickly adopted it and used it in their best cocktail recipes.

The “maltmen”, who used to stir the barley with a shovel, were constantly exposed to drafts that caused them serious rheumatism. This malting disease was known as “monkey shoulder”, the shoulder of the monkey. It is in tribute to these maltmen that the Grant family, owners of the iconic Glenfiddich distillery, created this “triple malt” made from the blending of three single malts (Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie) with aromas of honey, cinnamon and vanilla.
