Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Rich, beguiling. The first nose reveals white flowers (lilac, lily of the valley), paprika, pepper, beeswax, and chalk. Mentholated and heady, it becomes progressively more floral (lily, honeysuckle) and spicy (clove, cardamom).
Palate : Fresh, nuanced. A slight reduction gives its fruitiness a lot of presence. A true fruit basket, it offers pineapples, bananas, apples, and ripe grapes. Its tannins tighten it around dried and candied fruits (peach, lemon, date).
Finish : Long, firm. Its minerality is very present (licorice, dry earth) and its woodiness is precious (cedar, oak). Acacia honey envelops the fruits. Autumnal, it takes us into the undergrowth (lichen, moss). It oscillates between yellow and green tones.
