Located in the Northern Highlands, the Clynelish Distillery is renowned for producing a refined, waxy and fruit-driven single malt, much of which contributes to famous blends such as Johnnie Walker. Rebuilt beside its original site in 1967, the distillery carries a fascinating legacy—its former buildings were later renamed Brora Distillery, whose peated whiskies have since become highly prized by collectors.

Distilled on 19 July 1997 and bottled after around two decades of maturation, this special release from the S Spirit Shop LMDW Cellar Book – Hua Yang series reveals an unusually expressive side of Clynelish. Rich yet vibrant, the whisky moves between exotic fruits, creamy malt and gentle herbal notes, creating a distinctive profile that balances elegance with surprising intensity.
